The "Design for Social Good" project was one of my favourite assignments from my entire degree. As social good is my biggest passion in design, this project resonated with me deeply. The requirement was to create a campaign that raises awareness or strives towards fixing one of the apparent social issues that are present in Auckland city. I chose homelessness as the focus of my campaign - and I chose to use the tool of empathy and emotion to communicate the message of being invisible and overlooked.
This project included detailed campaign planning with deadlines, many phases of brainstorming along several iterations of the final designed outcomes in their various contexts. Along with all the deliverables, we had to also hand in a process workbook showing the many stages of the creative journey.
