This project was aimed to enhance our skills in iconography, vector drawings, illustration and consistency. Interpersonal research conducted throughout the course of this project showed me that one of the most important aspects of being University students was managing finances and spending.
I took this as an opportunity to design an icon library to be used in an application which aims to make this process easier for students to use. Through interviewing my peers, the six categories were clear and I aimed for a simple, clean look maintained in my icons. Using different shades of the same colour in each application made the icons slightly more dynamic while maintaining the clean aesthetic. The icons were all drawn and put together from scratch, and the vector points were assessed after submission.
