Playwright Anders Falstie-Jensen from The Rebel Alliance published two of his solo plays. Both plays have won awards, been performed all over New Zealand and have had excellent reviews. This book is currently being sold at the various shows at which the plays are performed.
As the designer, my focus was on the layout and typesetting of this book. The two plays had separate accent colours (green and orange) which were chosen by the author as visual cues that aligned with the themes and imagery that were showcased. Each play has its own focus and characteristics which needed to be communicated through the visual language and design direction.
The first and second edition of this publication have been published and sold publicly.
